Australian Disability Care Services (ADCS) is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Accommodation Manager to oversee the operations of our residential accommodation facilities for individuals with disabilities. As an Accommodation Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the provision of safe, supportive, and high-quality living environments for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential accommodation facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
- Lead and manage a team of support staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
- Develop and implement operational procedures, including house rules, routines, and emergency protocols, to promote the safety, well-being, and comfort of residents.
- Coordinate and facilitate the admission and discharge of residents, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication with residents, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of accommodation facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage budgets, resources, and procurement processes effectively to optimize the operational efficiency of accommodation facilities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, fostering a supportive and inclusive living environment.
- Monitor and assess the individual needs and preferences of residents, and collaborate with the support team to develop and implement person-centered care plans.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any issues, concerns, or emergencies that arise within accommodation facilities, taking proactive measures to address and resolve them.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident records, incidents, and other relevant information, in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to disability accommodation services, and implement necessary adjustments to improve service delivery.
