Voluntary Out of Home Care (VOOHC)
Voluntary Out of Home Care (VOOHC) is a service designed for young people with disabilities who may require temporary care outside of their family home. It offers a supportive and nurturing environment where you can receive the care and assistance needed to thrive.
VOOHC is vital in your recovery if your family circumstances make it challenging to receive the necessary care and support at home. It provides a safe and stable living arrangement where you can develop life skills, build independence, and work towards your goals with the guidance of trained professionals.
If it’s determined that VOOHC is the right option for you, we will work closely with you and your family to ensure a smooth transition. You’ll move into one of our specially designed homes, where our dedicated staff will provide round-the-clock support. We focus on creating a nurturing and empowering environment, helping you build essential life skills, pursue education or employment opportunities, and work towards achieving your long-term goals.
